New date set for Mayor’s downtown Houston Holiday Celebration

The Mayor’s Official Downtown Houston Holiday Celebration presented by TXU Energy, originally set for Saturday, Dec 1, has been rescheduled for Friday, November 30, from 5 to 8 p.m.

The celebration will still take place in Hermann Square, at City Hall (900 Smith). This FREE annual event will feature live entertainment, holiday treats and pictures with Santa. After the stage show, watch Houston’s downtown skyline come alive as the mayor lights the city’s official tree, followed by a spectacular fireworks display. Public parking will be available for a fee in the Theatre District garages.
