EAST ALDINE – The District and Lone Star College held a joint Open House Celebration last Saturday, at the new campus of the community college. Prospective students and their families were shown about the facility, got information on academic programs, and financial considerations.
Dean Luis Lucio said that almost 600 have signed up for classes. The college will eventually have 1500 students.
Features of the new building include welding and air conditioning shops, and a beautiful lake and park behind the building.
