Its back! Crawfish lovers, get ready to head to Tranquillity Park in downtown Houston for the 5th Annual Crazy Crawfish Festival!
Bring the kids and your appetite to enjoy three days of the best food, games, and live entertainment in Houston. The festival will be held at Tranquillity Park, 400 Rusk, Friday through Sunday, April 5-7. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 12 noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults; children under 12 get in free! (Free admission for everyone during the opening on Friday from 11a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Crazy Crawfish Festival features the most mouth-watering Cajun and Creole cuisine including gumbo, jambalaya, boudin, and much more!
This years onstage line-up will have both Cajun and Zydeco music performed by the hottest national and local talent, including Joe King Carrasco, Jean Pierre and the Zydeco Angels,, Luther and the Healers, Static, Carive, Sheila Marshall, and Wilfred Chevis and the Texas Zydeco Band.
There will also be arts and crafts and souvenir booths, a Crawfish-Eating Contest, and a wide variety of games and activities to entertain the children. The Crazy Crawfish Festival has something for everyone to enjoy. Bring your appetite and mingle with the mudbugs!
