Greater Northside Management District hosts annual Bike RideTour

Greater Northside Management District and Precinct2gether held the 7th Annual Tour de Northside bike ride last Saturday, November 9, 2019. The event started at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Arnold Brewing Company, 2000 Lyons Avenue, Houston. Harris County Court Record Research, Inc, president, Chris Wathen, was grand marshal for the ride.

The Mercado de Northside Art Market curated by Shop Local Market was held from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Saint Arnold Brewing Company, 2000 Lyons Avenue, Houston. This event included food, raffles and art vendors.

“We are pleased to bring this annual tradition and are only able to do this with the support of all our sponsors and businesses,” says GNMD executive director Rebecca Reyna. “This is truly community effort to promote and celebrate our neighborhood. This brings together businesses, nonprofit organizations, elected officials, schools, police officers, churches and community residents to explore, promote and celebrate our neighborhood. The strong law enforcement presence makes this event the safest bike ride in Houston.”
