GREENSPOINT – In July of 2021, the Houston City Council approved Summit at Renaissance Park, a 325-unit affordable housing complex on the Greenspoint Mall property.

The four-story housing development will include modern amenities, retail components and up to four-bedroom units, which should appeal to families in the area. The new development is designed to serve as a housing alternative for citizens who are living in flood-prone areas along Greens Bayou. The project received incentives from the City of Houston tied back to Hurricane Harvey flood relief funds as part of the City Council’s ongoing commitment to ensuring Houstonians have safe, accessible housing. Updates will be provided by the developer, Ziebengroup, as construction progresses.
