Safer Together Celebration
EAST ALDINE – Everyone is invited to a SUMMER FAIR this Saturday, June 18th from 10am to 2pm at the East Aldine Amphitheatre in Town Center. This is the new park development behind BakerRipley on Aldine Mail Route.
This free event is sponsored by the East Aldine District, and Bonding Against Adversity. It is named “Safer Together Celebration” because attendees will be able to get free COVID-19 vaccine shots, as well as to participate in a number of fun activities.
Sponsors also are planning on awarding a Free TV to some lucky person attending the event, according to Mariana Sanchez of B.A.A.
Activities planned for the day include face painting, Zumba, prize drawings, and free COVID shots. You are also reminded to bring a blanket and lawn chair to sit on the grass in front of the amphitheatre. You can expect some food trucks and music to round out the day.
Parking will be available at the Town Center, and at the Lone Star College campus next door.
Additional sponsors include the Hope Clinic, Pct. 2 Adrian Garcia, VAX HOU, Lone Star College East Aldine Center, and Houston in Action.
Everyone is welcome, and you should come and have a good time, while you are being “Safer Together.”
