Lone Star College – EA holds Hispanic History Panel

Public invited to Panel Discussion on Thursday, Sept. 21 at EA campus

Lone Star College East Aldine Campus is hosting a Panel discussion at their building on Thursday, September 21 from 10am to 12:30pm. The Panel Topic is “Success Stories” and will be the personal narratives of Hispanic educators and leaders in the Lone Star System, or the East Aldine District.

Speakers included will be Dr. Mario Castillo, Chancellor of Lone Star College; Melissa Gonzalez, President of LSC Kingwood; Reyna Tippetts, Dean of LSC – East Aldine Center; Ernesto Valenzuelo, Interim VP of Student Success at LSC Kingwood; and Richard Cantu, Executive Director of the East Aldine District.

The program will be held in the lobby of the Lone Star College East Aldine building, at 2430 Aldine Mail Route. You may attend in person, or by Webex on the internet, by registering at bit.ly/3qTo4S2.

The event will have some important guests in a panel discussion where they will share their own Success Stories, and attendees can ask questions. Just like our students, they all started right at the student desk. Therefore, this will be an excellent opportunity for students and community to gain valuable insight into working towards their own success stories!
