MacArthur Tennis Team Wins 8th Straight District Title

The MacArthur High School tennis team recently won its eighth straight district title when it finished in first place at the District 14-6A league meet.

The team, under the direction of head coach Matt Geisel, took on Oak Ridge in bi-district on Oct. 10 at Oak Ridge.

Three other Aldine ISD tennis teams also qualified for bi-district.

Davis High School, under the direction of head coach Steven Hawkins, finished second in the district. Eisenhower High, under the direction of head coach Jeffrey Brush, finished in third place, and Nimitz High, under the direction of head coach Jackson Alford, finished in fourth place.

Davis faced Grand Oaks in the bi-district, while Eisenhower took on College Park and Nimitz faced off against The Woodlands.
