EAST ALDINE – Jed’s Hardware Store is one of the oldest merchants in Northeast Houston, and to celebrate their 50th anniversary they held a special celebration party and sales event last Friday, Oct. 27. Jed’s Co-founder is Clyde Bailey, who also was the first chairman of the East Aldine Management District. The party was held at the parking lot and store on Aldine Mail Route, and included five hours of giveaways, food and drinks, games, music, product demonstrations, sales items, and a Dunk Tank!
