BakerRipley, state, Buckner, AISD and others distribute help

BakerRipley announced the Houston Texans Food Distribution Event in partnership with the Houston Food Bank and BakerRipley. It took place at the BakerRipley East Aldine Campus on Wednesday, July 17, starting at 9 AM.

Participating were Houston Texans football Legends, cheerleaders, and volunteers at the Food and Water Distribution Event. Thank you, Houston Texans, for supporting our community’s recovery efforts after Hurricane Beryl.

A special thank you to Houston Texans player Moran Norris and Texans Legend AnthonyHill for taking the time to attend and support our Neighbors today. The Texans have truly gone above and beyond to support Houstonians in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl. They are more than just a sports team; they are true champions of our community.

This event was a major success thanks to the Texans and the Houston Food Bank. Because of the strong volunteer presence from HP and others, we were able to keep the lines moving and serve hundreds of neighbors with food and essential resources quickly.

Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (Laura Murillo) also joined us today! This food event is just the first step in a long journey of recovery for many families, and we are committed to standing by their side in the weeks and months ahead.
