The North Houston District’s 2024 Knock and Talks Public Safety event was a huge success! We knocked on doors, engaged with residents, and conducted Burglary to a Motor Vehicle report cards.
By the Numbers, we knocked on 2,900 doors; Engaged in discussions with 460 residents, listening and talking about our programs; and we handed out 1,160 Burglary to a Motor Vehicle report cards, informing vehicle owners of unlocked cars, and valuables left in plain sight inside the vehicle.
This annual event is a collaboration between HPD North Belt Division, Harris County Sheriff’s Office Task Force and the District’s Public Safety Committee that helps educate the public on crime prevention. #marchoncrime
