Volunteers are vital to the areas economic growth, and the North Houston Greenspoint Chamber of Commerce will honor them at the chambers Annual Awards Banquet & Installation Ceremony on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 11:30 a.m. at the Wyndham Greenspoint Hotel.
The chamber will recognize exemplary volunteers and induct the 2002 Board of Directors at the event.
Every year, there are a handful of volunteers who exceed all expectations and prove to be true leaders in our chamber and community, said chamber President Suzan Deison. The recognitions we provide are only a token of our appreciation for their contributions to the chamber, their hard work and the difference they have made in the community.
Awards will be presented to companies and/or individuals in the categories of Business Leader of the Year, Humanitarian of the Year, Economic Development, Youth Outreach, Education, Diplomat of the Year, Company of the Year, Citizen of the Year and Chamber Volunteer of the Year.
The North Harris Montgomery Community College District is underwriting the event. Other sponsors include the Greater Greenspoint Management District, Greenspoint Mall, North Harris College, Reliant Energy and Southwestern Bell.
Individual tickets are $35 each, and sponsorship options are also available.
