Globetrotters to appear at Compaq Center

The Harlem Globetrotters, who have teamed up with Burger King, will play more than 200 games all across the continent from December through April for the team’s 2002 North America Tour.

“The Harlem Globetrotters have been creating unforgettable experiences through our mad skills, dazzling athleticism and quality family entertainment for generations,” said Globetrotters Owner and Chairman Mannie Jackson.

“This season’s show will be even more exciting and a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to create memorable experiences together.”

The Globetrotters team includes superstars: comedy showmen, Paul “Showtime” Gaffhey and Matt “Showbiz” Jackson; the high-flying world-record holder Michael “Wild Thing” Wilson; Sharavjamts “Shark” Tserenjanhor, a 7-footer from Mongolia; and playground “Legend” Dwayne Rogers.
