HOUSTON — Houston Community College (HCC) Northeast will host two Saturday fall registration events for new and returning students from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Aug. 12 and Aug. 19 at the Northline Campus, 8001 Fulton Street, Houston.
The Fall Registration Fairs are designed to provide personalized enrollment support which includes one-on-one help with selecting programs of study, enrolling in courses, and determining financial aid eligibility. Attendees will also be entered for a chance to win a $500 scholarship and free giveaways.
The fair provides a one stop shop opportunity for attendees to speak with program experts and explore interactive displays that demonstrate what students learn in the classroom. HCC offers many career pathways and enrichment opportunities for high school students to senior citizens. Offering the registration fairs over two weekends provides a convenient way for adults, parents, and senior citizens to learn more about associate degrees, specialized certificates, university transfer courses, dual credit, workforce training, continuing education, adult basic education, and free community learning programs.
For new and returning students seeking to enroll for fall, the fairs also present an opportunity to meet with departments that provide additional support and resources that include financial coaching, sports recreation, student life, career services, face-to-face and online tutoring, technology, and library services.
