Wizards, Snakes, and Harry Potter fans at East Aldine Fest

East Aldine threw a Harry Potter celebration last Saturday, complete with wizards, witches, Hogwarts costumes, and more.

Families gathered at the Amphitheatre for the fun day. Early arrivals registered for Harry Potter theater and dance classes.

Almost everyone enjoyed the snakes and reptiles, and got to touch and hold them. There were crafts, lawn chess, costume contest with prizes, a raffle, a scavenger hunt, and carousel rides on your favorite animal.

There were also professional quidditch lessons and exposition. Quidditch is the game of flying on a broomstick!

Event coordinator Alma Dealejandro said that day was a great success, with many families participating in the spirit of the Harry Potter stories.
