ALDINE – Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia has announced that Precinct 2 has opened a free storm debris drop-off location for Harris County residents. The location for Pct. 2 is Pep Mueller Park, at 14750 Henry Road (between Aldine Mail Route and Aldine Bender).
Hours of operation are 9am to 6pm, 7 days a week. Questions call 713-274- 2222.
Harris County residents may drop off residential storm debris related to water damage from burst pipes due to the recent severe winter weather.
The following guidelines should be followed:
• Residential storm debris only
• Acceptable debris includes pipe, sheetrock, insulation, flooring, and other damaged household materials
• No contractors or business debris
• No tires, batteries, or hazardous materials
• No appliances or electronics
• No household garbage
