According to HCSO Chief Mike Lee, before Tropical Storm Nicholas Made Landfall, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Flood Rescue Group Staged a fleet of High-Water Rescue Vehicles and Watercraft throughout the Harris County area so that they would be poised to act if called upon during the storm.
